Weight and Trauma

Trauma can trigger emotional and physical manifestations. A common sign of someone that has incurred trauma is rapid or extreme change in their physical appearance, and includes grooming.

This can either be towards "perection" or "complete dishable"

This in turn can lead to a cycle of further harrassment, trauma and a self-perpetuating cycle. Often the only way to break this is through addressing the underlying issues.

One suggestion is to think back to role models of oneself before the trauma, and get back in touch with the true self.

One such way to do this is EFT, or NLP.
